- WHAT IS THE ORMUS PROCTO GEL MEDICAL DEVICE AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
- The ORMUS PROCTO GEL medical device is indicated for external use to relieve irritation and symptoms associated with haemorrhoids (itching, burning and swelling).
- Thanks to the ingredients used, the ORMUS PROCTO GEL medical device creates a protective film on the skin surface that prevents the negative effects of external factors. It has a protective, caring and lubricating effect, bringing relief in case of burning and itching.
- Sodium hyaluronate contained in the medical product supports and accelerates the process of regeneration of the epidermis, supporting the healing process.
- IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE USING THE ORMUS PROCTO GEL MEDICAL DEVICE
Contraindications:
Do not use the ORMUS PROCTO GEL medical device:
- in case of previously diagnosed hypersensitivity to any of the components of the medical device (in case of doubt, apply a small amount of the product to the inner side of the arm - if there are irritating red spots, do not use the product);
- in children, use the product only after consulting a doctor;
- on open wounds.
Warnings and precautions:
In pregnant and lactating women, the use of the product should be consulted with a doctor. If, after using the product, there is an intensification of changes or additional disease symptoms appear, use should be discontinued. If, after 7 days from the first application, the symptoms do not subside, intensify or an allergic reaction occurs, consult a doctor. Do not use for more than 15 days at a time without consulting your doctor.
- HOW TO USE THE ORMUS PROCTO GEL MEDICAL DEVICE
Apply externally to the surface of the skin around the anus.
The product is intended for adults for individual use. Gently apply a thin layer of the preparation to the cleaned and dry anal area. Depending on the severity of symptoms, use 2-3 times a day, especially in the morning and evening. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap before and after each use. The ORMUS PROCTO GEL medical device should be used until the symptoms subside, but not longer than 15 days without consulting a doctor. In the event of exacerbation of symptoms or lack of improvement, consult a doctor as soon as possible. If you have any doubts or feel that the effect of the medical device is too strong or too weak, please contact your doctor or pharmacist. If necessary and after consulting a doctor, the medical device can be used for a longer period of time.
Use of a higher than recommended dose of the ORMUS PROCTO GEL medical device.
Do not use higher doses than recommended.
Skipping the use of the ORMUS PROCTO GEL medical device.
Therapy should be continued with the current schedule of use. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
- POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
In the event of allergic reactions or other adverse effects, stop using the product and consult a doctor if necessary. The manufacturer should be informed about all undesirable effects:

- HOW TO STORE ORMUS PROCTO GEL MEDICAL DEVICE
Store in a closed, original container at a temperature of 15-25ºC. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not use the ORMUS PROCTO GEL medical device after the expiry date stated on the packaging. Once opened, the package should be used within 3 months.
